Education system
The school follows the system of the Central Council of Secondary Education and has ongoing tests and tasks. There is a Formative Assessment and Summary Assessment as part of the CBSE (I) syllabus. During the inspection of Knowledge and Human Development Authority in the year 2016-2017, schools got 'very good'.
History
The school was previously summarized until grade 4 to 2014. It was later converted into a full co-ed from 2014 onwards.
Culture
Schools support different cultures and give the same equality for all cultures. Students and staff from abroad are also accepted and treated equally

Students who earn 80% or more in core subjects are eligible to appear for advanced proficiency tests.
Campus
The campus is located outside the main town, at The Gardens (Jebel Ali). Today's school buildings consist of five computer labs, a physics laboratory, a biology laboratory, a chemistry laboratory, a mathematical laboratory, a language lab, four libraries, two auditoriums, a basketball court, a cricket field, a multi-sport complex, a rectangular field for many sports, 2 cafeterias and two clinics, one for boys and one for women. They recently added a tennis court run by LOS ATLETAS tennis coach. The clinic is operated by two nurses and doctors. Parents are informed immediately about their child's injury/illness. School is divided into 5 blocks: -
- Senior block (Grade 9 to 12)
- Main block (KG 1 to Class 4)
- Milestone Block (Grades 5 - 8)
- Administrative Blocks (Reception, Book Store, Clinic, Sundeep Hall (auditorium), Conference Hall, HUGS 1 and 2 (Special Needs Room)
- Sports Block Complex (Swimming pool, multipurpose hall (auditorium and basketball court), table tennis court, volleyball court, etc.)
Extra-curricular activity
Sightseeing and Field Tour
The school organizes many field trips for students, to places of interest in Dubai and Sharjah, such as Safa Park, Dubai Mall, Ferrari World, Dolphinarium Dubai, Sega Republic, IMG world adventure etc. It also organizes visits to various countries such as Egypt, the United States, Britain, China for senior students.
Club
The school has two main clubs - the Mathematics Club, which runs the Mathematics competition, and the Public Speaking Club, which hosts the debate. It also hosts the Toastmasters Club.
Operating environment
The school has only three recycling bins, located in Blok Pratama and the elderly. The material collected is provided to Emirates Environmental Group for recycling. Schools are also actively participating in drive collecting cans, cleaning drives, awareness campaigns and environmental education.
Sports
DPS Dubai has teams for cricket, soccer, swimming volleyball, basketball, athletics, table tennis, and badminton at different age levels. The teams are practicing on three grounds, and the school pool. The team also practiced before school hours. DPS is the winner of many trophies in sports.
