Reverse class

The reverse classroom is a concept in education (see Flip teaching). Clintondale High School, in Clinton Township, Mich., Was the first to fully embrace this concept in 2011 in an effort to raise the values of failed schools. TechSmith products are used as their primary software, and the company also provides grants to schools to start the program. The teacher records online lessons for the students to watch at home and then the students come to the classroom to do their homework. Videos usually consist of an overview of lessons, content, and ending with a summary. Voices, video clips, images and annotations can be entered through TechSmith products like Camtasia to improve lessons. Camtasia and Relay give teachers the ability to share their content across multiple platforms. Students can see the lesson on any computer or mobile device. This gives students more class time with their teachers to solve problems than to try to do it alone at home.
