Empire Beauty School is a large nonprofit school of cosmetology schools in the United States. Headquartered in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, it is the largest system of cosmetology schools in the country. Founded in 1946, it currently has more than 109 national schools, having purchased the training academy of Regis Corporation in 2007. It trains students as cosmetologists, beauticians, electrologists, hairdressers and colorists, makeup artists, manicurists and nail technicians.

History
In 2010, Empire Beauty School acquired Northern Westchester School of Cosmetology and Cosmetology at Peekskill, New York, as well as the International Academy of Cosmetology School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Empire Beauty Schools opened its 100th corporate campus in Springfield, Pennsylvania, in 2010. The school was inaugurated during the 100 Days of Empire Empire Education Group event.
The newest environmentally friendly schools are open in West Palm Beach, Florida, Pineville, North Carolina, and Paramus, New Jersey. The schools follow in the footsteps of Lauderhill, Florida's beauty school, which took the Green Conscious Salon Certification award from the Florida Association of Professionals of Beauty. All cosmetology schools incorporate environmentally conscious elements such as energy and water conservation features.
