S * (pronounced "S Star") is a lowercase letter for the S * Life Science Informatics Alliance, a collaboration between seven Swedish universities and Karolinska Institutet, and its course, S-Star Bioinformatics Online of course. The goal is to provide training materials for bioinformatics and genomics.
